Job Description/Responsibilities

The Procurement Manager of Contract Manufacturing will report into our Director of Global Contract Manufacturing and will help manage relationships between Sazerac and our contract manufacturing partners. This role will help lead our Contract Manufacturing team with a focus on delivering industry leading quality, customer service, and cost. As a key member of the Procurement Leadership team, you will play a critical role in optimizing and streamlining Contract Manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal/external customer experience, as well as providing strategic solutions to support leaders and company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

    Establish and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of Contract Manufacturing services.
  • Reports on KPI's for quality, customer service, and cost internally and conducts regular reviews with co-manufacturing partners.
  • Acts as the liaison between the contract manufacturer and functional groups within Sazerac including Supply Chain, Finance, Quality, Procurement, Brand, Sales, and Operations.
  • Manages manufacturing projects from concept to commercialization.
  • Develops and leads with a continuous improvement mindset to drive operational savings.
  • Ensures accurate inventory management, reconciliation, and manages slow moving and obsolete materials.

Process Optimization

  • Streamline and standardize Contract Manufacturing processes to enhance overall operational efficiency with our contracted partners.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements within Contract Manufacturing operations, with a focus on new business development.
  • Implement best practices and ensure adherence to established Procurement policies and procedures.

Compliance And Risk Management

  • Ensure that compliance controls are adhered to, to mitigate risks related to quality and customer service. Vendor Management.
  • Collaborate with vendors to ensure the effective delivery of Contract Manufacturing goods.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to optimize cost and service levels.

Metrics And Analytics

  • Implement Contract Manufacturing metrics and analytics to measure operational effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Performs market analysis to provide data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, Master's preferred.
  • Proven experience in Procurement operations management, with a focus on Contract Manufacturing.
  • 10 years of progressive experience in Operations, with a focus on transformational leadership roles.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with a track record of successful implementation and optimization of contracts.
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and resolve conflict
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of organization.
  • Ability to travel 25%
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to drive results in a complex, high growth company.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing team
