Who You Are
We are seeking a Sales Business Development Manager to work on a cross functional team that ensures effective and efficient management of programs and projects within National Security Operations (NSO). The successful candidate will have a unique blend of programmatic knowledge and government contracting experience with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. They must be able to balance and prioritize customer, sales, and business needs.
What you'll do
1. Developing and implementing contract and program management policies, procedures, best practices, and standards.
2. Providing leadership and direction to project managers and teams, ensuring that they have the resources and support necessary to deliver successful projects.
3. Monitoring progress and identifying potential risks and issues.
4. Developing and implementing mitigation strategies to address contractual risks and issues.
5. Facilitating communication between cross-organizational and functional teams, stakeholders, and the customer.
6. Providing regular status updates and contractual/programmatic reports to senior management and USG customers.
7. Conducting program reviews to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
8. Collaborating with other functional areas of the organization to ensure alignment and integration of strategic/sales activities.
9. Leading continuous improvement efforts to enhance program management processes and tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Five years of Project/Program Management experience with the Federal Government
2. Hold an Active TS/SCI Clearance (FSP Preferred)
3. Communicate directly with the customer on their domain
4. Regularly meet with customers onsite at their facilities and various locations; candidate must reside in VA or MD based on client locations.
5. Knowledge of US government/military contracting regulations and processes (FAR/DFAR)
6. PMP or DAWIA certification (Preferred)
