Cybersecurity Engineer (DevOps) - Colorado Springs - Secret
Cybersecurity attacks are on the rise, and it is vital to ensure that IT solutions integrate the highest level of security. US Citizenship with an active DoD Secret security clearance
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; Associate's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience; OR a HS Diploma or GED with 9+ years of relevant experience
- Possess a current DoD IAT Level II or higher certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+)
- Strong understanding and experience with systems automation tools (e.g., build custom scripts to automate tasks using Ansible)
- Working knowledge of cyber security and Risk Management Framework (RMF), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), and associated elements
- Experience conducting security log reviews using Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Working knowledge and experience with Elastic stack (ELK), including configuration and development of elastic search, Kibana, and logstash
- Working knowledge and experience with automating industry platform hardening practices, such as STIG implementation via Ansible playbooks
- Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in Agile DevSecOps teams.
