The Johns Hopkins University, Kanold Laboratory is seeking to hire a Sr. Research Assistant within the within the Department of Biomedical Engineering who will conduct research pertaining to experience circuit changes in the brain. The Sr. Research Assistant will be responsible for performing in vitro brain slice experiments from prefrontal and auditory cortex. Key skills include technical skills for animal surgery, brain slice preparation, electrophysiological data collection, laser-scanning photostimulation, signal processing skills for data cleaning and analysis.
