JOB SUMMARY
Support fundamental people-oriented functions and processes that align with Louisville Water's business strategies. Actively oversees and monitors Louisville Water's employee experience by influencing and fostering a workplace environment of professional growth and development through continuous learning, skills, and knowledge improvement.
Lead the organization's performance management initiatives and provide guidance regarding the company's succession and talent development process utilizing various instructional design and delivery methods.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Coordinate the administration of assessment tools delivery and analysis of results.
Create and execute various learning strategies and program goals.
Partner with various business segments/departments and other key stakeholders to identify and address skill gaps and knowledge augmentation.
Evaluate individual and learning development needs.
Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g., coaching, job-shadowing, online training).
Design and deliver e-learning courses, workshops, and other training.
Measure the success of development plans and help employees make the most of learning opportunities.
Assist managers with developing their team members through career pathing and succession planning.
Provide leadership, administrative support, guidance, and resources coordination to the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.
Manage L&D budget(s) and negotiate vendor and/or professional services contracts.
Hire, coach and lead and L&D staff members.
Oversee the design and delivery of corporate or third-party learning programs.
Manage the Company's facilitation efforts including coordinating and supplying all customer and team requests for facilitation.
Coordinate the administration of the Company's quality assessment tools (e.g., Team-Based.
Assessments, Departmental Self-Assessments, and Effectiveness Surveys). Lead the analysis of the assessments and its presentation to customers.
Instruct teams and facilitators in process analysis, process improvement, setting end-result goals & outcomes and process measures.
Develop, execute, and monitor the Learning & Development Operating Plan in accordance with the company strategic plan, and ensure that goals are achieved.
Identify, develop, maintain, and communicate measures of work and staff performance.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Organizational/Learning Development, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Business Management, or closely related field; and
Seven (7) years of experience designing and implementing professional development programs, in human resources, organizational/learning development or training.
three (3) years of supervisory or management experience; and
Valid driver's license.
