Job Description:

This role is an Account Manager for Crowe's Microsoft Cloud Solutions Delivery Unit. The role will require hands-on account management across MCS's existing and growing Manufacturing and Supply Chain technology and consulting solutions portfolio. The primary focus will be on growing individual account commercial relationships through the deployment of our proprietary ERP, Digital Accounting, and Data Analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term strategic client relationships
  • Originate, structure, negotiate, execute, and manage agreements to maximize Crowe shareholder and client value
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet revenue and margin growth objectives
  • Forecast, track and report key account metrics and engagement status
  • Meet with clients frequently to identify opportunities to expand commercial relationship, solve client-specific problems and add differentiated value
  • Oversee and manage all client deliverables, timelines, value and impact, messaging, positioning
  • Collaborate with Crowe resources and solution deployment teams to exceed expectations and ensure client delight and appetite for an expanding commercial relationship
  • Work with client, and Microsoft as appropriate, on client subscription renewals for both Microsoft and Crowe software
  • Create, track, update, and manage client commercial opportunities in CRM

Your day will consist of

  • Understanding customers' diverse, specific business needs and applying product knowledge and industry best practice to meet those needs
  • Identifying and developing new business through networking, and courtesy- and follow-up calls
  • Preparing and delivering customer presentations, articulately and confidently
  • Marketing and promoting a portfolio of products literature through attending industry events
  • Developing effective sales plans using sales methodology
  • Managing Sales Pipelines and Sales Cycles efficient through Dynamics CRM
  • Meeting sales- and team targets together with the sales team and the leadership
  • Managing workload in order to organize and prioritize daily and weekly goals
  • Contributing to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues
  • Maintaining awareness and keeping abreast of constantly changing software systems

Experience and Qualifications

  • A minimum 3 - 5 years of Account Manager relevant role experience, ideally with a software vendor and/or professional services practice
  • Demonstrated ability to identify client needs which align to service / software offerings and create message which demonstrates and quantifies offering value to client
  • Strong communication skills to deal with internal stakeholders, clients, and 3rd party partners (e.g., Microsoft)
  • Strong client management skills and the ability to work with customers to develop trust
  • Demonstrated experience in managing customer expectations
  • Demonstrated experience working with Sales, Engagement Management, and Executive stakeholders
  • Microsoft certifications are a plus
  • Ability to travel on a modest to moderate basis, as appropriate.
  • Strong solution selling skills within ERP sales and/or Management/Technology Consulting
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
  • Excellent communication skills (listening, perceptual acuity, speaking, and writing)
  • Cloud Knowledge and Experience a plus
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
