What You Will Do:

Our Warehouse Scheduling Coordinatorleads the day-to-day activities of a team in support of the inventory planning and controls activities. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

How You Will Do It:

  • Serve as the production planner for York and Frick kits, overseeing the planning and scheduling of production activities for two distinct business models.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for all kit-related communications, liaising effectively with customer service and purchasing teams.

  • Ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of kit production by closely collaborating with the warehouse and supply chain departments.

  • Gain hands-on experience with KetteQ, our forecasting tool, to accurately predict and plan kit production.

  • Collaborate with the warehouse and supply chain teams to release work orders and ensure timely execution of production plans.

  • Work on the warehouse shop floor as needed to meet the demand for kits and address any production-related issues.

  • Develop standardized work processes to streamline operations and improve overall efficiency.

  • Create comprehensive documentation for newly developed processes to ensure clarity and consistency in operations.

  • Close collaboration and cooperation with suppliers, customer support, purchasing and warehouse operations

  • Possess strong communication and writing skills to effectively convey information and instructions to relevant stakeholders.

  • Utilize Visio to create flow charts and visual representations of workflow processes.

  • Apply lean principles, including Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Time study analysis, and spaghetti diagrams, to identify opportunities for process improvement.

  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address any issues or bottlenecks in the production process.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in MS Excel and analytics to analyze data and generate insights for decision-making.

What We Look For:

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree & experience in planning from previous jobs. Any additional industry related technical school or college degrees will be considered as favorable.

  • Exhibit adaptability and flexibility to handle new activities and tasks within the workspace.

  • Possess proven experience working in a warehouse environment, with a strong understanding of warehouse operations and best practices.

  • Have a solid knowledge of forecasting and supply chain principles to effectively plan and schedule production activities.

  • Familiarity with warehouse shop floor operations is essential.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), as well as internet software, MS Visio and E-mail is required along with experience in both MAPICS and LAWSON ERP systems.

  • The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 10 pounds. The vision requirements include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
