RCG is a growing federal contracting company and Certified as a Great Place to Work. We are looking for strongly qualified people to help support our clients. We are currently seeking a for a full-time position as part of an ongoing contract in Washington DC near Farragut West metro station.

Please note: Due to the secure nature of this government agency, all candidates must be U.S. citizens and an active Department of Defense SECRET clearance (no interim adjudications will be accepted).

The successful candidate will receive a contingent offer based on the outcome of a government background check. This may take several weeks, and the candidate cannot begin actual employment until the background check is successfully completed.

This engineer has to be very self-motivated and self-starter on tasks. No room for hand holding on the senior roles. Expected to be given limited direction and will architect, administrator or engineer tasks as needed with the data center lead.

Primary Duties:

• Microsoft Domain administration; senior level
  • Active directory domain services (AD DS) experience 5+ years
  • Group Policy Management 3+ years
  • VMware/ESXi experience 5+ years
  • SCCM experience 5+ years
  • Exchange engineering
• Scripting languages such as PowerShell and batch
• Understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Additional duties designated by Data Center Lead

Qualifications include:

• Current, active government clearance of Secret or greater
• Certification: Security+
• DoD compute certification related to work: (Exchange, Windows Server, MSCE)
• Previous SIPR work as an Exchange SME/Engineer (no less than 5 years)
• Solid experience with STIGs and Patch management is a plus
• Ability to work independently, cooperatively and collegiality with others, on multidisciplinary teams and to establish professional working relationships
• Takes direction well from management
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in the English language

Preferred:

• Solarwinds experience
• Microsoft certificate authority experience
• WSUS experience
• SQL experience
• CISCO HyperFlex experience
