Job Description | The purpose of the Coordinator, Athletics Compliance and Student Athlete Success position is to assure student-athlete compliance with NJCAA eligibility standards, to perform NJCAA eligibility data review and entry, and track and assist student athletes' academic progress. This position will provide guidance and assistance regarding student athlete transfers to and from the college. This is accomplished by following and staying current on NJCAA guidelines and interacting with student-athletes, faculty, and the College's academic support systems and staff. Other duties include event staffing. While the primary responsibility is providing instruction to athletes, this individual also assists with recruitment, hiring of assistant coaches and ensuring adherence to the NJCAA By-Laws, Regulations, and Code of Ethics. In addition, the position will provide game day support when needed. Employees of Harford Community College, including instructors for online and virtual courses, must be residents of Maryland or the contiguous states of Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia or the District of Columbia; non-residents are expected to relocate to meet this requirement.
