Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm is looking for an entry-level civil engineer to join our roadway design team.

Responsibilities include:

• assisting the design team with preparation of roadway plans
• performing design calculations and geometrics
• preparing design reports
• performing site visits on roadway projects
• assisting with quantity take-offs and cost estimates

A valid driver's license and some travel will be required.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in civil engineering from an accredited four-year college or the ability to obtain the degree within six months of hire date.

The ideal candidate will have experience in any/all of the following:

• EIT or ability to pass FE exam within six month of hire date
• transportation related coursework
• previous internship in civil or transportation engineering
• reading engineering plans, contours and drafting.
• AutoCAD and/or MicroStation software programs
