Job Description

NTS is hiring Printer Field Services Technicians servicing our customers in theNorthern Virginiaarea. The successful candidate will be responsible for traveling to multiple agency locations to diagnose and repair Laserprinter hardware while providing the highest level of customer support. Attention to detail in reporting is a must. All candidates will need to undergo background checks as well as drug testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot & repair Laser printer hardware from various manufacturers including HP, Dell and Xerox. A+ and OEM Certifications a plus.
  • Travel to various customer locations to perform onsite printer hardware repairs.
  • Complete necessary paperwork: Mileage, Time records, Parts used, Problems solved, Service history report.
  • Basic networking / IP configuration experience.
  • Generate leads for the sales force.

Requirements:

  • Previous copier/printer hardware experience.
  • High degree of electromechanical skills preferred.
  • Verifiable strong work ethic.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Customer service expertise.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Logical troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in electronics or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Networking knowledge and training a plus.
  • Understanding of basic networking, IP configuration.

Pay: $22 - $24/hr. depending on experience
