Job Description

Oracle R12 Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Developer to support configuring OBIEE, ODI, Security Layers, Architecture and Data Warehouses in a R12 Federal Financials shared service environment.

Responsibilities:

Execute requirements analysis, process review, fit gap analysis against an existing RTM
Design and develop reports using OBIEE
Must have demonstrated experience and understanding of Oracle R12, R12 tables, security layers and architecture
Demonstrate expertise in managing and developing using all components required for developing reporting in OBIEE
Demonstrate expertise in using ODI and Data Warehouses
Review and recommend compatibility to existingconfigurations.

OBIA experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements:

  • 6 six years minimum of Oracle applications OBIEE experience
  • Must have some demonstrated DBA experience related to implementing and supporting the Oracle R12 applications, specifically OBIEE.
  • Demonstrated prior experience with Oracle Database Tuning techniques including but not limited to analysis of system memory, system disk usage, operating system performance parameters and hardware configuration.
  • Prior experience developing technical design documents.
  • Prior experience in implementing OBIEE in a Federal environment is preferred.
  • Good understanding of Oracle R12, R12 tables and architecture
  • Expertise in managing and developing using all components required for developing reporting in OBIEE.
  • Expertise in using ODI and Data Warehouses.
  • OAS repository Development - build OAS business models based on OFF transactional data structure
    OAS visualization development - create reports and dashboards based on business requirements.
  • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL tuning skills - understand basic OFF / EBS workflow and data tables.
  • Customer training and support - trouble-shoot customer issues, write user guides, and mentor customer's report developers.
Qualifications
  • Must have strong Oral and Written Communication skills.
  • Must have strong experience working within Teams.
  • Must have strong Client Support Skills with Flexible and open Responsiveness.
  • Must have Excellent Customer Relationship Management skills.
  • Ability to be hands-on in this role to develop polished, professional documentation and other written materials.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and technical skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to clear a federal background check - Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Primary Location:Herndon VA | Currently Remote may require onsite.
