INTRODUCTION

Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Director of HR or Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), the Total Rewards Manager leads the company's total rewards strategy. Responsible for the development, implementation, and management of the organization's total rewards programs. This role will oversee compensation, benefits, and recognition initiatives to ensure they align with the organization's goals and objectives. The Total Rewards Manager will collaborate with HR leadership and key stakeholders to design competitive and comprehensive total rewards packages that attract, retain, and motivate employees.

MAJOR DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Leads and manages Benefits/HR Representative.
  • Oversee the administration of employee benefits, such as health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness programs, the company's 403(b) plan, personal savings plans, and deferred compensation programs.
  • Administers employee insurance programs including life, disability, and health insurance plans.
  • Monitors and ensures compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • Oversee the evaluation and benchmarking of compensation and benefits packages to ensure competitiveness and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions regarding total rewards programs and initiatives.
  • Advises and informs employees of changes and developments related to benefits including eligibility, coverage, and provisions.
  • May conduct employee surveys, census, and other research and demographic efforts required to collect accurate quotes from benefit providers.
  • Collaborates with HR and business leaders to align total rewards programs with organizational goals.
  • Ensures the organizational plans comply with the applicable provisions of COBRA, HIPAA, and ERISA.
  • Acts as liaison with benefits brokers, vendors, and insurance carriers, to ensure proper administration of the plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies related to compensation and benefits.
  • May oversee the leave management process.
  • Manages annual audits, non-discrimination testing and Form 5500 process.
  • Manages the job classification process-collaborates with HR and leadership to review and update job descriptions, classifications, and salary levels to maintain internal equity and external competitiveness.
  • Responsible for the tracking of referral, new hire, relocation, retention etc. bonuses.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, Finance, or related required.
  • 5 years of experience administering compensation and benefits programs required. Provider Compensation experience preferred.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) preferred.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
  • ADP Workforce Now experience a plus.
  • Protects and maintains sensitive and confidential information.
  • Strong understanding of compensation and benefits principles, practices, and trends.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and compensation planning software.
  • Experience working with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), non-profit mission-based organizations, or in healthcare a plus.
