Support Given:

  • Plans, designs, and implements innovative end-to-end entry, intermediate, and advanced level training courses or learning projects for an engaging learning experience for internal and external audiences.
  • Develops training materials for instructors, such as online course instructional guides.
  • Identifies and plans appropriate instructional content design strategies and objectives, curriculum, learning activities, and assessment materials based on analysis of tasks, learners, and subject matter to engage and educate end users on products, product features, or other topics, ensuring the content matches the objectives.

Job Functions:

  • Applies the use of standards from industry, professional associations, programmatic accreditors, and those identified by local and regional employers to identify the technical competencies to be developed in each program of study.
  • Confers with subject matter experts to identify and determine the course's needs and the appropriate delivery method based on what the students or end-users need to learn.
  • Develops and publishes interactive and engaging multimedia course content and instructional material for online delivery, including text, graphics, interactive elements, and rich media, using various media and web content applications, audio and video capture programs.
  • Manages course development projects from inception to completion in accordance with instructional design principles.
  • Determines, communicates, and manages the project's scope, requirements, goals, and timeline.
  • Demonstrates and utilizes effective needs analysis, project management, course development, evaluation skills, and knowledge of how people learn and how to help them learn better.
  • Revises rewrites, and structures content and activities to shape it for learning needs.
  • Adapts instructional materials and creates media to support learning, e.g., visual aids for face-to-face and various multimedia for e-learning and online.
  • Writes updates, blog posts, and tips; and may expand to include writing content for seminars, webinars, newsletters, or other learning resources.
  • Produces training videos that demonstrate product features, and develops new-feature tours and prompts that will be embedded in the user interface.
  • Uses visual design and coding skills; produces multimedia, creates static and motion graphics, web design, and user experience.
  • Researches and maintains an understanding of teaching methods and tools; pursues and utilizes knowledge of emerging technologies, tools, and trends in education and learning strategies.
  • Remains current with issues related to accessibility, compatibility, and emerging technologies, ensuring that all methods are compliant, and consults with instructors as needed.
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 14 years experience of relevant experience is required.
  • Active Secret security clearance at the time of hire
