Position Summary:

Position develops and executes print and digital marketing solutions to support strategic marketing campaigns, product promotions and initiatives for assigned MBA groups. Under project supervision, the position implements marketing projects from service concept to campaign completion. Position also interacts with internal clients, in-house designers, senior staff, and communications and marketing colleagues to manage, and execute marketing and communications campaigns. Position is an individual contributor role.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a strategic partner and marketing lead to assigned internal client groups and provides responsive, personalized customer service for staff members throughout the development and execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Develops and executes creative print and digital marketing solutions to promote products, events, programs, and services for assigned internal client groups.
  • Support exhibit and sponsorship sales team with strategic marketing and branded campaigns.
  • Manage strategy and execution of MBA presence at internal and external events to ensure engagement and proper branding with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Exhibits effective leadership and project management skills when working with internal clients, in-house designers, and communications group colleagues in planning, writing, developing, and coordinating marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Produces effective print and digital promotions that support the organization's goals, brand, and values positioning. Oversees assigned projects to completion, within budget and on time, including achieving milestones throughout.
  • Develops marketing analysis reports to determine campaigns' effectiveness and recommends solutions to improve underperforming campaigns

Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts, or a related field, with a minimum of seven years of prior relevant work experience at an ad agency, in-house communications department, association, or financial services firm in digital, print, and sales-driven marketing campaigns.

  • Requires effective project management and organizational skills.
  • Requires proven analytical, research, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills including an understanding of digital campaign analysis and the ability to identify and utilize new technology and tools.
  • Requires a thorough understanding of core marketing pillars, including audience segmentation and key marketing channels to create and execute campaign strategies to reach identified goals.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and to influence others at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work well with others, communicate with tact and diplomacy and provide leadership.
  • Requires strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
