You Will:

  • Provides timely responses to Large Commercial pricing requests.

  • Provides pricing for retail RFPs.

  • Prepares questions and submit responses for retail RFPs.

  • Collaborates with Quantitative Analysis, IT and Operations staff to develop, update and enhance proprietary electric price model.

  • Creates, updates and enhances proprietary electric price model as necessary to support structured deals that require customized modeling and/or pricing processes to close.

  • Researches PJM and Electric Distribution Company tariffs in new power markets to understand market rules, procedures and pricing risks related to generation, transmission and distribution costs in support of retail electric sales.

  • Supports Commercial Solar product offerings.

  • Supports Mass Market pricing requests.

  • Assists with efforts to refine automated pricing engines to support new large commercial electric offers.

  • Supports PJM activities including day ahead demand bids and internal bilateral transactions.

  • Produces and ensures the accuracy of various standard and ad-hoc reports for management


You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Math, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or other quantitative discipline is required. MBA or CFA a plus.

  • 2+ years of electricity industry experience or 1 year of electricity product structure experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of electric utility tariffs, PJM markets and other regional energy markets.

  • Knowledge of the PJM retail market or energy commodities.

  • Advanced to expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including a minimum of 2 years of working experience in Excel/VBA.

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Power Point. Access, SQL, and Oracle experience preferred.

  • Demonstrated project management skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task successfully to meet daily deadlines and work with deal closing-related uncertainties in a dynamic and deadline-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to establish rapport and effective working relationships with business partners, supervisors, and peers.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to successfully execute complex process-oriented tasks while making appropriate business decisions.
