Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Identity Access & Management Engineer in support of our Army G-3/5/7 customer. The ideal candidate will have experience working in cross functional agile teams on a federal contract supporting software development initiatives.

This position will support cloud infrastructure and services, configuring and maintaining a middleware solution, with custom components and environment access controls.


What you will do

  • Integrate current portfolio of products (OAM, OHS, LDAP, etc.) with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, and reduce redundancies from current portfolio where applicable.
  • Configure IAM capabilities to allow for secure integration of commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products (e.g. Qlik Sense, NPrinting, Vizlib Server) as well as custom single sign-on capabilities.
  • Support custom UI/UX requirements for user management (registration, deactivation, etc.) and user feedback workflows.
  • Maintain and further enhance IAM frameworks, models, and tools for delivering IAM services.
  • Troubleshoot software and/or configuration issues in support of maximizing system uptime for end users.
  • Support software upgrades within required patching timeframes.
  • Create and manage access controls (authentication levels, authorization rules, etc.) for an Enterprise system.
  • Operate across multiple environments simultaneously, performing a variety of tasks, from addressing production issues to working on new initiatives.

What you need to have

  • Clearance: Active Secret
  • 5-8 years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) experience.
  • DoD Directive 8570/8140.01 IAT/IAM Level 2 Certification such as Security+ (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
  • Knowledge of SSO integration methods such as ADFS, SAML, OIDC, Cookie (Headers), and/or API support.
  • Knowledge of Identity Provider (IdP) capabilities such as LDAP (preferred), Graph API, and/or Azure AD.
  • Working knowledge of multi-factor authentication (MFA).
  • Experience with project and task planning to include scope of work, time estimation, and resource assignment.
  • Ability to resolve problems in a timely, professional manner within a team environment.
  • Ability to draft requirements documents, correspondence, and procedures in accordance with policies.
  • Experience monitoring, resolving, and documenting service tickets and requests.
  • Ability to provide clear, accurate, and simple explanations of technical procedures and processes to audiences of varying degrees of technical proficiency.
  • Must report onsite in Crystal City, VA at least 3 days per week.

What we'd like you to have

  • Experience managing Army Identity and Access Management (IAM) in a cloud environment.
  • Familiarity with generating, applying, and managing certificates.
  • Proficiency in documentation and knowledge sharing.
  • Familiarity with working in a DoD environment.
  • Knowledge of ATO/IATT requirements.
  • Comfortable in technical and business requirements meetings and conversations.
  • Self-motivation to pursue ongoing knowledge in required subject matter areas.
