This position may be 100% remote but want a candidate who is on the east coast.

Notes from the manager: Order entry background will be their main responsibility along with cash collections so it s preferable that we find someone with experience in both.

Order Entry
Process customer POs for purchase of hardware
Review customer POs against Salesforce Quotes and enter orders in SBO (SAP Business One)
Work with Sales Operations team to resolve order paperwork issues
Cash Collections & Invoicing
Contact customers by phone & email regarding outstanding balances
Assist with customer invoicing and sending invoices to customers by email
Review & respond to accounting related customer inquiries
Gain access to Capsule Accounting inbox to support team with customer inquiries
Respond to statement requests, invoice requests, etc.

Required Skills:
Has worked previously within an Accounting Org and has experience with Quote to Cash (i.e. order entry), Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
Has Month End Close experience and ability to prioritize work to meet MEC deadlines
Ability to communicate clearly & effectively via phone & email
Comfortable learning new systems (with training)
Comfortable working independently as well as within a (remote) team environment
Ability to transition smoothly and quickly from one task to another
Required Systems Experience:
Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word)
ERP System (i.e. SAP, Oracle)
Preferred (not required) System Experience:
Salesforce.com
