Overview

BigBear.ai is seeking highly creative Senior CNO Programmer wih the ability to lead cyber security teams and projects. This position will support our Intelligence Division.

Working on a diverse team you will use low-level programming and reverse engineering develop tools and test the limits of operating systems and programs to better prepare our technology for the predictable and unpredictable attacks of the adversary while mentoring junior engineers and ensuring the success of projects with minimal instruction.


What you will do

  • Develop tools to automate security testing and enable more efficient discovery and resolution of security problems.
  • Apply deep knowledge of application attack vectors and mitigation techniques.
  • Demonstrate strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in a small team setting.
  • Serve as a mentor and provides guidance to other team members.
  • Have regular interaction with product users to replicate and fix flaws in the initial design.
  • Integrate with the overall frameworks and understand the entire end-to-end system.
  • Work closely with customers to understand ever-changing requirements and develop documentation pertinent to operating and supporting developed software and techniques.

What you need to have

  • Clearance: must possess and maintain a TS clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science and six years of related experience or minimum ten years experience is computer science, information systems or network engineering
  • Minimum eight years of experience using programming and scripting languages such as C, C++, Python, Assembly and Shell Script.
  • Minimum seven years of experience developing Windows or UNIX applications
  • Network Programming experience and familiarity with computer networking protocols and devices, operating system internals, and computer system architectures

What we'd like you to have

  • Visual Studio, windbg, and .NET expertise
  • Knowledge of security standards, security controls, software technology and software security
  • Experience in reversing and debugging in real-time using virtual or physical debuggers
  • Comfort with Subversion
  • Knowledge of Mobile Operating Systems
  • Experience with Big Data, Machine Learning and AI
