Key Role Responsibilities - Core

Assist Regional Learning & Development Managers with tasks related to offering and executing training courses within each region. Administrative tasks as well as in-classroom training opportunities for a host of classes ranging from skill-based courses, emotional intelligence and culture driven courses for a company of 3,000+ employees. Learn all facets of training and development within the organization.

  • Ordering Meals
  • Creating Travel Instructions
  • Interacting with outside vendors
  • Creating Nametags/Table tents
  • Drawing Posters/Flipcharts (examples provided for copy)
  • Reproduction of course materials (copy machine)
  • Answering questions from Participants (employees) and SME’s (Subject Matter Experts)
  • Collaborating with other Regional Interns assigned to our department
  • Collaborating with other Regional Learning & Development Managers
  • Collaborating with National L&D Team in Kansas City
  • Entering Data into the LMS (Learning Management System)
  • Updating Course Content in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint)
  • Attend instructor led courses as assigned
  • Gathering & Organizing materials
  • Communicating class/program information
  • Promoting L&D programs
  • Attending weekly, monthly, bi-weekly L&D meetings

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • PC/Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of in person training (Education, HR, Training & Development Major preferred but not required)

  • Enrollment in accredited Bachelors Degree program or higher, and coursework in the area(s) related to the internship opportunity
