General Responsibilities | The Department of Physical Sciences (Division of Health, Science, and Technology) is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated adjunct instructors to teach various physical science courses, including lecture and lab instruction. Classes are offered in a variety of formats, including face-to-face, fully online, and hybrid modes of instruction. Weekday and evening teaching opportunities are available. Join our team of dedicated instructors to inspire and educate the next generation of scientists and to instill fundamental scientific competence in students across the college. Enjoy small class sizes, supportive coordinators, well-equipped classrooms, and top-of-the-line lab facilities and equipment. The Department of Physical Sciences is looking for adjunct faculty to teach in these subjects:
Note that applications are reviewed periodically by department chairs and course coordinators on an as-needed basis to staff courses in fall, winter, spring, and summer terms. Approximately 10-30 new adjuncts are hired every year. Your application enters you into an adjunct pool that is monitored during specific times of year, not continuously.
