Concentric Methods is seeking a Research Nurse to join our team in Bethesda, MD in support of the NIH.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, perform and evaluate patient care for a full assignment of patients with various care needs                                  
• Assess complex and sensitive health education needs in individual patient populations                                          
• Provide nursing care based on protocol requirements to varying patient populations including blood draws, EKG, point of care testing, medication administration and other nursing tasks                                                    
• Act as a nursing resource in providing continuous support for research team members Act as an advocate for research patients
• Troubleshoot and communicate for any problems that arise during studies
• Document and file adverse event reports; perform follow-ups accordingly

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with current state nursing licensure; min an Associate's in Nursing
• Experience in Treatment settings, Neurology, Psychiatry, Addiction, Research, Clinical Research
• Phlebotomy skills
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills
